I can't believe we are nearing the end of July already. Why does winter drag on so long and summer seems to go way to fast? I have officially started my third week of work. I still have so much to learn, but each day I am feeling a little more confident. Isla is doing very well at daycare. I pick her up and she is happy and looks like she has had a great time. Isla will be 11 months on the 2nd of August. It seems like just yesterday I was counting the weeks of my pregnancy and now I am planning her first birthday. It was so much fun to watch her yesterday. We went to playgroup and she was such a little ham. She really enjoys interacting with her new friends and she was taking on the obstacles that the other kids weren't to sure of. Even though Isla looks like the spitting image of Joey, I hope that she will have my drive to always take on challenges no matter how big they may be and never let anyone say you can't do something. Without going into a full Miley Cyrus ballot of overcoming hurdles and challenges, I hope she always realizes that if she wants it bad enough she can have it and I will always be her number one cheerleader. If that means blazing into a tunnel at 10 months old or achieving your dreams as an adult, she will always have my support. We all get into ruts from time to time with bad jobs (which are like bad relationships you never realize how horrible it is until you get out) or just a time in your life where you feel like you aren't sure where to go next. I will remind her no matter what life hands her to do the same thing that she did when she was 10 months old and put one foot in front of the other and she will come out the other side.
